Honouring National Indigenous Peoples Day 2023
On Tuesday, June 20, the Indigenous Education and Community Engagement department (IECE) at 69成人电影网 (VCC) hosted celebrations in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day at the Broadway campus.
Each year, this day represents an opportunity to recognize the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and outstanding contributions of Indigenous communities.
Dance performances involved the groups and artists:
- Urban Heiltsuk Dance Group
- M’Girl
- Norine Braun
- All My Relations
Indigenous artisan booths and resources were also on display throughout the event. Bannock and refreshments were served while the Student Union of 69成人电影网 held a popcorn station for guests.
